For years I have been telling Amazing Charts that Field 25 of Form 1500 is not showing our Tax ID number and it is costing us considerable staff time to manually enter this data on every single claim form we produce. I was hoping it would be fixed in the 6.6.5 update and it is not. Very disappointed. Does anyone else have this problem? We noticed the problem when insurance companies started to call us about the missing info when I think we updated to 6 from 5. This is an easy fix as the Company profile in AC has the data so it is just a matter of placing a field. Seems that AC does not care unless enough of us raise a stink, so please let them know.

We don't use AC for billing but I just created a CMS 1500 form to have a look. Field 25 for us (v6.3.3) said "use practice ID." So I played around and went to edit user info in admin options. We have only 1 doctor and in her "edit existing user" tab, the TaxID box said "use practice ID." So I changed it to her EIN and the CMS 1500 did update to show the EIN in field 25.

Wonderful, THANK YOU. Even though the field instructed to place the Tax ID into the user account ONLY if different than the practice, I placed the practice TAX ID in the field and it works. Seems the Form 1500 pulls Field 25 from the USER acct and not the Company profile. Thanks a lot for looking into it. Hope AC decides to fix this so others do not run into the same problem. This will save a lot.
