I'm having issues trying to get a report. I want to print a list of all my patients with a diagnosis of breast cancer or DCIS. I tried putting in "diagnosis" "ICD code" then "174.%" and 1 criteria and "233.0" as another criteria. No results. Just blank. Help please. Need for MU.

Question: Do you need this pulled from only Diag 1 or do you need to know if a patient has a certain diag regardless of whether it is in position 1, 2, 3, or 4?

Kathryn,

If you are doing two criteria searches do you have the "And" or "Or" statement set to "AND"?

Next to the "Add criteria to Query" button there is a button to choose between "and" or "or". Try putting the button on "or" and see what pops up

Just look into your emr and see what codes you use for breast cancer
The in the search criteria put in the same diagnosis without the % sign and it will work. Do the same for DCIS if you have entered the code or the name for any of your patients. When you enter a code in the search criteria either with the " Diagnosis" or ICD code , it should be the same what is in your emr diagnosis.
Hope this helps
Grenville
