AC keeps telling me my DEA # is expired, anyone know how to fix this because it is not expired.

Also anytime I try to go to deleted messages I get an error and AC crashes. It's just me, my other staff do not have this problem.

Hi Scott,

That sounds very frustrating.

I have my state license and DEA listed in my practice info, but have never filled out an expiration date for them inside of AC to my knowledge.

Makes me wonder about your account with NewCrop and SureScripts having it wrong. You might check with them.

Did the two problems start together?

You might see if your user profile causes other machines to crash and have other users try your machine as well. Try different versions of Windows on younger and older machines if you can before you get AC support for the crashing. CPUs and memory can be defective, and I have had to put new memory in a machine. If you do add memory, split it evenly between 2 slots. It also may be a lack of resources on your machine if you have other programs running or haven't shut off your machine recently.

I had crashing problems with Windows 7 that I couldn't solve until upgrading to Win 8.1 on all 5 of our exam room machines. I went most of 2013 with AC crashing every other patient it seemed. Always when logging on when came into the room. Embarrassing when you don't remember anything about the patient and 1-2 minutes seems like hours while apologizing for the computer and asking the patient their name. Becomes a sick joke when it happens every time they come in.

I've tried it on 2 different Win 7 machines and on the server which is SBS2008, I get a runtime error 90 and it shuts down. This only happens when I try to open the deleted messages.

Found this, but it probably will not help if you have the same problem on every machine. Please be careful messing c registry without a pro.

I would call guardian support with ideas and let them sort out the differential diagnosis.

Thanks!

Fixed the DEA thing. I logged into the admin panel and pulled up my user name. There was a little button on there that said verify, I clicked that and now everything is good.

Deleted items are still causing a crash, time for Guardian support.
