Lost on the medicare web site.
1) Did 3 of our office docs in 2012 for MU 1. 2) One got rejected and unfortunately went through in 2013 (less $) 3) New doc started in July.. what does she need to do?
Can someone briefly direct me what should be done now... links would be good to!

Thanks.
That's a real good and easy link.
Anyone know if there is a certain threshold for my new doc in 2013 ie amount of patient seen etc. Looks like she can do 3 months....

There isn't a threshold of required patients seen. It's a time frame of attestation, 3 months for the EP's 1st year. I just attested for the third year(and my final year of Medicare participation).
The measure that indicated any reference to minimal number of patients seen was Core Measure 1 and Core Measure 4. If the Eligible Provider writes fewer than 100 Rx's during the EHR reporting period, they can click the "exclusion" from Core Measure 1 and 4.
However I don't know what would happen if numerators and denominators for other measures were "0" I guess you will find out when you attest. sincerely, Adam

The main issue that comes up with a threshold is this: you can only receive up to 75% of your Medicare billings for that year as an incentive. So, for example, if her first year incentive is $15,000 (the amount for a first year attestation, when you start in 2013), then her Medicare collections in that year must be $20,000 to receive the full $15k. Otherwise, it will be prorated downward.
