Merry Christmas
I am starting to build a web site that matches a patient looking for medical information with a physician in their same local area. The idea is that the patient gets (general) medical info from a qualified local doc instead of a random web search. And the doc gets a new patient lead that can possibly be nurtured into an office patient.
- I will charge the patient something small per month to qualify them as a lead seriously looking for medical help, instead of just an internet peruse.
- I would charge the doctor something reasonable per month in return for delivering patient leads.
- The concern about liability, in my mind, is limited. Giving general medical information is ok, so long you're not actually giving a diagnosis or a treatment recommendation. We all do the same if you've ever given a community talk or the like.
- I think that would only be suitable for doctors whose practices are NOT bursting at the seams, i.e. docs who feel it's worth their time to interact online with patients to generate new patients.

The temporary landing page is www.qiatros.com
All suggestions and input are welcome.
