All of a sudden the following problem started today. When the patient is seen in the exam room and a prescription is sent in no distress would appear half an hour to an hour afterwards stating that the prescription failed. This message will appear in red. The prescription will have to be resent.
Is this new? I have not seen this before.

Correction to the previously posted topic. What I meant to say was "When the patient is seen in the exam room and the Rx was sent, in about a 1/2 hour to 1 hour a message would be returned stating that the Erx failed. The message will appear in red and I would have to resend the script.
Never seen before. I am asking if this is something new.

Raj,

I've only had this happen to me twice in the three years I've been using amazing charts. I just resent the prescription and that seems to have worked.

Is it only on one patient or all of your e-rx's?

Raj is right. I've gotten 6 of these in the first 2 hours this morning. Anyone else noticing this. This IS the proper forum for this kind of stuff. It's important to find out if it's a Newcrop problem or a local problem.

Retransmitting did NOT fix the issue. Not getting an alert, but the pharmacy is not getting the Rx. Better print and fax for now.

I re-transmitted and about half went through (confirmed with pharmacy) but the rest failed again. Very frustrating.

My PA and I are getting e-scribing failures all over the place today. Will start printing them - hopefully somebody will post when NewCrop gets its act together.

Bad News!!!

Eventhough I did not get back the resent scripts, the Rx's never made it to the pharmacy. Getting phone calls from patients all day. I had posted before how intolerant this situation is!

Raj, we're getting the same here.. No message that eRx failed, but if you go into the newcrops screen, the status says failed...

This has been an intermittent problem here for weeks. Today it is especially bad. I have also discovered that the internal links to online help do not connect. Calls to AC remain unanswered.

I am about to start the day. Dis we get anything from new crop if this issue is fixed. Still have received no word. It would be nice to know if I should continue printing scripts.

Yesterday the electronic transmission of prescriptions was not working almost all day and we had to fax them manually but today every thing worked. We have had this problem with NewCrop off and on and they never send a message before hand that there will be problem with electronic prescriptions.

"The following prescription has failed to transmit to the requested pharmacy. "

And they have a nerve to increase the price!

Really, come back from the weekend do a lot of refills only to have to do it again.
Makes me wonder the utility of paying for yearly upgrades esp since I am not chasing MU money. There I vented.

Pt of mine suggested that this failure is because of Cyber Monday. He says everybody is online.

It's the ePrescription rapture. Two hypertension prescriptions waiting for transmission. One is accepted, the other left behind.

I have 7 partners currently that want to join AC but are insisting that this problem be fixed before they send any cash. Mr. Squires - please comment directly on this issue soon as the natives are very restless..thanks

I think I have "Erx send phobia". Do not know what will happen if I click "send". Have resorted to printing all my Rx's today. Apparently we should not complain about the extra time it takes to do this. Have a feeling that aour comments are getting lost in cyber space.I think all comments above says it all. The silence from management or tech support is not very encouraging.

Hello all,
Newcrop reported an outage to us earlier this afternoon. Shortly after they notified us that the issue had been resolved.

Performance has been restored to standard levels.
We have identified the source of the timeout errors that were impacting some users.
We will continue to monitor performance throughout the day.

Thank You,
The NewCrop Team

E-Prescribing as well as electronic renewals should be back to 100% functionality.

Best Regards,

Clayton@AC

I have scripts being transmitted as OK but coming back a few hours later with a message that there were prescription transmission failures. This has caused a lot of frustration I am not sure at any given time if the scripts have successfully reached the pharmacy. I had erxed quite a few scripts before I left for the thanksgiving weekend only to find out today that they all failed to reach the pharmacy and AC reporting them as prescription transmission failures.Even today 12/2/13 I have the same problem
