Unfortunately it appears NewCrop is having connectivity issues today.
We are getting reports from every region.
Amazing Charts would like to sincerely apologize for any inconvenience.

We have made contact with NewCrop and are awaiting a response.
I will post an update as soon I hear from NewCrop with an update.

This is the official word from New Crop:

NewCrop is currently seeing DNS name resolution issues. This will impact some clients based on their cached DNS information.

We are working with Network Solutions to resolve the issue. We will update you as we make progress and determine the source of this interruption.

Yes at 3 or so 10/24 it was giving me the same message....Mr. Squires...are you listening...maybe a gentle nudge is in order...and I will be calling updox this am as well...seems they are having more growing pains....

I am getting a some eprescribing errors today.
There is no NPI in prescriber Node.

A few went through now getting this failure.

If you haven't already resolved the issue, I believe if you are getting that NPI error you need to edit your (or at least the prescriber) user profile... enter your NPI # in the field.
I had received an email from AC about this on Oct 23... it reads:

"ACTION MAY BE REQUIRED, PLEASE READ BELOW.

Over the course of the next few weeks, we will be switching our e-Prescribing service over to the 10.6 NCPDP SCRIPT CMS standard per the Medicare Modernization Act of 2003 (MMA). Our e-Prescribing vendor New Crop and SureScripts will do this in the background. It should not affect your workflow.

Version 10.6 is a compatible update of the adopted NCPDP SCRIPT Version 8.1 for Medicare e-prescribing transactions. To be in compliance, every prescriber registered with New Crop is required to have the NPI information in their Amazing Charts User Account match the information listed at the NPI registry. This includes an exact match of your first and last name as it appears on the registry.

Please check your User Account by accessing the Admin Options and then clicking on the User Account & Security button.

You may check your CMS NPI number and naming information here.

If you need further assistance, please ether call Guardian Support at (866) 382-5932 or click here to chat with a live representative.
