There has been errors reported with similar syntax, when this happened to me I was told that I do not need to do anything, because it means that AC's database was not online(not the server's database, but some online update database from AC). I was told to ignore it. I hopo everything seems to be working though?.

Well, everything seemed to be working OK yesterday (Friday) and the error message came through some time late Fri or early Sat.
I will ignore it.

More information would be helpful to clients; I'm getting emails from clients this weekend and they are concerned about if these errors are attributed to their version of AC, and what we can do to fix the problem.
Updox has their status page; any time we plan maintenance on production systems, we schedule it around practice hours, communicate it, and test it after we bring the system back up. AC may have the same level of operational methodology, but by not communicating, users become concerned.

The drug updates are incomplete even when they work. For instance, I have been waiting for the past 3 years for New Crop or AC (whoever is responsible) to add Axona to the med lists so I can refill and eRx this med. This stuff is important for patient care.

Agree wholeheartedly, John. Frustrating because these updates don't happen and in fact, we don't even know where to go with the problem. Chris at AC says that issues sent via the "report a bug" feature in AC are looked at by her. I will send a report there, and encourage others to do the same.
To be clear, I am reporting two issues: 1. the specific one reported by Tom to start this thread (we got it twice this weekend) and 2. the fact that new drugs are not updated and added to the list

I spoke with the Guardians about this error message on Friday. Guy told me he would email me with an answer. I will pass on the info if he does so. I have complained multiple times about Johns issue. It is hugely frustrating. It should be updated weekly. Some of the meds not on the list have been out for years. Pathetic really.

Here is the promised follow up:
Hello Dr. Leeson, I am following up with you in regards to the recent Meds Upadte Failed messages you were getting. Upon investigation we found that this was actually just a generated error when an interface update went out Friday night. You can just ignore the messages and delete them. This has not caused any harm to your practice what so ever and we apologize for any inconvenience this has caused.

The question is, what type of interface update went out and why were they not aware of this before now? I have not seen this happen before.
