Are there many users who have upgraded to 6.5.6
AC states that many issues with prior version 6.5.5 have been resolved
The immunization issues and CPT billing for vaccines are claiming resolved
Please share your experiences and thank you in advance

6.5.6 does NOT correct the immunization billing issue.

That will probably be corrected in 6.6.1, which may be the next iteration to come out.

It will be corrected in 6.6.1 by optionally turning off adding the admin codes but it still adds the basic immunization code. They apparently decided not to try to create a system to define the logic behind admin codes.

Is it just the billing codes that come out wrong? Or is there some other issue as well?
I have a biller who just takes what I have off AC and sends it her own way to the clearing house. She could change whatever code AC creates. Is there some other issue of which I should be aware before upgrading?

I have had very few issues with 6.5.6 other than the billing one. I would consider contacting AC and ask for a list of known problems.

The Ped billing issue is probably the largest that I know of.

This version uses SQL 2012. Apparently it has been a more difficult installation than before and it was recommended you have tech support to upgrade. I was going from V7 and required some "special handling" because of that. I'm not sure how much of a problem it was, but I did my other office by myself without difficulty.

2 separate Guardian Angels have told me they are not aware of any know problems. They also seemed to be unaware of the immunization issue. Not sure they are being straight forward. Makes me uneasy. Allegedly the next release will be out in the next month. I am waiting to upgrade until then.

I do know 6.6.1 solved the problem but you have to manually add the charges. I was doing it that way before, so it's not a problem for me.
