Several eRx renewals (received from different pharmacies) for the past week cannot be retransmitted. An error box appears "Incorrect syntax at '=' ". I have tried retyping the Rx in the Prescription Writer and rematching, but still the error. Has anyone seen this? I at first blamed it on the transmitting pharmacy, but it has been several different stores.

I am not sure, but it seems to be an error generated by SQL Server. I suppose I would contact JamesNT first, then AC support. Are you using 2012?

Yes! I thought it was just something with my wonky server. I have had success sending from the chart rather than the renewal page but it is a pain. Let me know if you figure anything out.

I also noted the count for received Rxs on the main window is incorrect again. I'll try to run the Database Tuner again to fix this. Will report back.

Been on the road implementing for two weeks, missed this one.

First, the eRX count will continue to be off over time, known bug. The fix is to run the tuner as you are planning.

Second the error is @ the SQL server level. The fact that it just started showing up would indicate that something on the pharmacy network side has changed, and AC [SQL Server] is choking on it because it breaks their command syntax.

AC will need to isolate it, and they could release updated code in a future release to fix it, but unless they modified something in the interface (without telling folks), the problem is coming from the pharmacy network side.

I recently upgraded to version 6.61. Since upgrading, I have not seen the ERx count bug or the "incorrect syntax" error notice on requested refills.

Well, that's disappointing.

I don't get any renewal requests from pharmacies. They continuously tell me that they send requests but I never see them. There must be some form of setup issue that I don't get. Has anyone had a similar problem and how did it get solved?

pnl - there is a form you need to get from AC support that you fill out and then they send that to the pharmacy network.
