Hi! I didn't see this topic and I need an answer concerning this issue by...Monday. Yay!
We are unfortunately selling our practice and our new bosses want a list of ALL charts in AC with addresses attached. I tried running a report but the search items don't allow for blanket use...I would appreciate any brainstorms! Thanks! ~Jill

Dear Jill,
Here's a quick and dirty method that took about 10 minutes to set up and test on AC 6.3.3 with ~10k patients.
In AC, go to reports.
Tediously enter the terms that you want from demographics:
last name first name address1 address2 city state zip
Each time, set the search to find all instances in which the first name (address, etc) is <> to xyzzy, using the OR option (not that it matters).
By including the columns that you want in the search, you get them in the output. By asking for anything that doesn't match a nonsense string like xyzzy, you get everyone.
Run the report, export the results to an xls spreadsheet.
Cheers,
Carl Fogel

Thank you Carl! I appreciate the idea. It turns out there is an Admin option. Under Admin, click on Import/Export icon. Patient demographics is listed under export options and it will export into an Excel file. Took only five minutes. This is why I love AC.

Can I ask? Are you being bought by a hospital? There is a lot of news about physicians moving to employed positions.

If you go to the admin section, go the import/export section and export patient demographics, this would do it very easily.
