Suggestions from prior threads
If the list on the summary page was tied to the pmh it would help immensely. Being able to manage the list from within a note would be very helpful. Also, being able to sort and edit the icd list even on the summary page would be very helpful.

John Squire is here, accessible, and a nice guy. I still think AC is the little engine that could....and can. I know I'm a Polyanna.

John says he's accessible by email and has answered quite a few of them from users. This board is ours and he doesn't want us to feel he's spying. I expect many questions to be answered tomorrow. I think he understands the beauty of AC.

I am here in Boston as well and going to the users group Anyone have experience with Altapoint. They tried to sell me their PM software because it now interfaces with Amazing Charts. Anyone using them?

From the ACUG, office management partner is to be announced in 2 weeks. Promises are to be kept. I will hold off and see what happens in 2 weeks. John Squire's promise is to keep promises he makes. Practice management is going to happen. AC support staff quite enthused about him.

AltaPoint is set up directly across the aisle from AC and they have a banner proclaiming they integrate with Amazing Charts, go wonder.

Must have been a last minute invite to Pri-Med as Altapoint didn't make the list of exhibitors or floor map being handed out at conference; I will be talking to them tomorrow

Linda, Did they quote a price for you to buy Altapoint?

The session by Shanker Santhanam, MD was awesome according to my husband. He did workflow optimization...decision support etc. I went to the MU session and product update with Chris Tremblay. I wasn't really registered so I only did the afternoon sessions. John was there for both the sessions I went to. All of the AC team seem very committed and enthused.

they did quote a price...I think he said $495 first year fee, then $199 per year after that? Besides a better interface with AC, I don't know what the differences would be between them and EZ claim.
I heard the sales person gave another person a different quote ( he said the $495 fee is waived for anyone who signed on at the conference?). I was not quoted this! This makes me suspicious. Anyone else talk to Altapoint and get a quote?

Just got back from Boston. The AC staff was very upbeat and on the ball. I had a chance to meet John Squire and he made a good first impression.

Anyone else get the "free at conference" quote from Altapoint?
To answer a previous question from lindamleemd, we have used AP in the past, and I think the billing section is great. In fact, we were going to stick with them for the EMR, but it's just not easy to use like AC.
I'd love to have a good interface with AP, but their demo version does not work at all.
