We have a couple of times. I think all you need to do is go to the admin options and click on the scheduler and put in the change.

When you set up the schedule in AC, it set up appointments for about 2 years out.

When that time is over, you need to go to the admin section and schedule them out for another 2 years, which is default, but you can make it more. It does NOT read the old schedule, you have to completely redo the schedule from scratch for the particular provider

Watch out, though.
It does not save any days or times you may have blocked off for vacation or holidays. You have to reenter them after updating the schedule.
This fouled us up the first time we did it.

I've redone my schedule a few times. It has started to duplicate every hour of the day and duplicate lunch breaks and so on. Is there a way to completely reset the schedule system, but not lose patient appointments?

Both are true and possible.
If you already have appointments when the new schedule is made, it will keep appointment that are out of range for the new one (if you had a 6PM appointment and now it is set to 5PM on that day.)

Break times and blocked times are NOT, to the best of my knowledge, kept when the schedule is reworked.

Is there a way to show a schedule for different locations so that the billing location matches?
Or where do I specify location when creating the superbill?
Thanks,
Andy

Andy,

Are you asking about setting the location (place of service) during the billing/coding of the encounter?

IIRC, that drop-down list is for POS is available for 6.5.x, not sure about early versions - will have to go check.

I was looking for a way to have 2 different schedules based on locations for a single provider.
I found the spot on the superbill where you can change the location.

The only solution I can think of would be to create a second provider with almost the same information. I'm not sure how AC would view this (ie need to pay for an additional provider)
