Hi everyone,
Anyone else noticing very very slow drug interaction checking today?
We had to turn interaction checking off.

I think we're about to have a NewCrop downtime issue. I'm having issues with interaction checking and sending now.

Hearing from our clients as well - since we got a call asking already this morning, a quick tip - the way you can turn off drug interaction checking is the prescription settings at the top right of Write Prescriptions screen.
Running without interactions is not optimal, and we're not recommending it, just passing along a work-around if you feel the need to exercise it. YMMV

Erx down around 9am central 8JUL2013. Had to turn off drug interaction checking. Program fights me when I try to turn the interaction checking off.

NewCrop is currently investigating network issues. Some users may experience slow performance or lack of connectivity. We are working with Sungard to provide an update with a timeline for restored service. Thank you, The NewCrop Team

And when will we know that Newcrop has this issue fixed so we can turn the interaction checking back on? This is a real hassle for the doctors and us all. And bad for Meaningful use numbers.

When I was in the Air Force and we ran into delays the standard line was "We are aware of the problem and are working on it". It was essentially a synonym for "shut up and leave us alone". At least NewCrop could say they're sorry and regret the inconvenience.

After a bad morning, we can run AC on our main computer again. But AC still not working on all other computers. All other computers connected to main computer through a router locally. We tried reboot, it did not work. Any suggestions?

While we have yet to receive official word from New Crop. We have tested and confirmed with a few clients, E-Rx is back up and functioning properly.
I will post a final update from New Crop when we receive it.

We experienced a service interruption from approximately 7:30am to 1:00pm CST.
SunGard has indicated they encountered limited connectivity and sustained an unexpected interruption of internet service.
