Anyone noticed that recently some words in our posts are RED and underlined and if you hover over them there is an ad? Also I am randomly getting a video ad on the screen --- anyone else or do I have a bug on my browser???

Steven - check your browser. My guess is that it has a tool-bar or other some-such installed.
These add a layer on top of the html and javascript that comes from the website, and then does trixy things with the browser page.
The easiest way to validate this is download and install another browser Chrome/Firefox, and see what you get.

I was on chrome and found an extension - disabled (I think it was gamevance) and now it is gone....thanks

...javascript that comes from the website, and then does trixy things with the browser page. Those add-ons are TRIXY and FALSE! Funny, LOTR quotes are my kids favorites right now!

hi,
just thought I would let everyone know of a similar problem I had - suddenly I found 'delta search' on all my browsers- fire fox , chrome and IE- had to go in to manage add ons and disable extensions, add ons , run malware bytes, MS malicious software removal tools, and still only a partial removal from chrome - turns out this particular search engine redirects the browser page and though it is advertised as a genuine product it is like a virus
also beware of browser redirect - another bad virus , which shows up as an add on
