Does anyone know if this means we won't have to double enter demographics and billing codes from AC to Medi-soft or vice versa?

I don't think a PM program would be worth anything if it still means double entry. I think those who want the product most of all want no more double entry.

In her Product Update post on Friday, Chris from AC mentioned "X-link improvements that allow a seamless import of patient demographics" would be part of 6.5. This might improve the connection between AC and Medisoft. We'll have to wait and see.

I use Medisoft but decided a while back not to use the X-link or try to integrate with AC. It was too expensive and cumbersome. Double entry, though a bit of a nuisance for my staff, was a better solution.

I second John H's message and decision.
We use MediSoft PM, and look forward to 6.5 + X-link.

At present we enter manually from the AC "Super Bill" into MediSoft, but we do 1 way readout of a CSV file from Medisoft to AC for Demographics. Syncing Demo data is a weak link (if it changes), and we do in real time at visits/

We held off on x-link also because from my understanding, it would still would not prevent having to do the double entry of demographics.

Is 6.5 far enough along that anyone can beta test now?
