So, this is an issue that came up recently using Amazing charts.

Dr. Thomsen had an entire chart written up and was about to sign it... She wanted to add something and intended to hit "Shift + N" to type a capital "N". Instead she accidentally hit "Ctrl + N" which is the shortcut key for NEW NOTE. This WIPED OUT everything she had written with NO way to recover it. LastNoteBackup.txt just recovered the newly wiped out note instead of what she had written previously.

I know this has been a topic before, but there SERIOUSLY needs to be a way to recover data lost in an open chart that has not yet been signed. Even if the LastNoteBackup.txt could be written to several different versions. Has anyone found a workaround to this very apparent problem??

Also, perhaps the "Ctrl + N" shortcut key could be a preference we could turn off so it does not happen again. It is very easy for the finger to slip, especially when in a rush.

Dear Samantha,

I will send your suggestion to our programmers. It sounds like a good idea to me.
