I have started taking advantage of the illustrations available when documenting skin lesions prior to skin surgery. I noticed that there is no left face jpg, only a right one. Can anyone help me out on this?

Yay! I finally get to help someone!

Whenever you click on the "Select Illustrations" button, a new window titled "List of Illustrations" pops up. At the top of this window are general instructions for how to add illustrations to AC.

For your situation in particular, here is what I'd do:
1. On, your main computer, find the Amazing Charts folder. Open it.
2. Find the folder called "Illustrations." Open it.
3. Find the folder called "M." Open it.
4. Find the illustration called "Face." Right click on it, and select the "copy" option.
5. Paste it in the same folder. (You can do this by right clicking in an open space within the folder and clicking on paste). A new file, called "Face - copy," will appear. You can rename this file to "Face R" if you want.
6. Right click on this file, move your cursor over the "open with" option and select paint. This will open a paint file with the illustration.
7. Type ctrl+A. This will select the entire illustration.
8. Right click on the illustration and move your cursor over "rotate" option, and click on "flip horizontally." The image should have been flipped by this.
9. Save the file.

Done and ready for use! you should now be able to see an illustration titled "Face R" in the "list of illustrations" window.

Thanks for this post. We were not aware there were illustrations available. Can you access them from a patient's chart?

Found the illustrations and our Doctor is very happy to play with it. Can the illustrations be printed with the note?

Thanks, Mario. You are a genious. With your instructions and some peace and quiet at the office today, I as able to complete this in about 15 seconds. I would have never figured this out in a million years. What is your secret? Thanks again.

The illustrations can add a lot to a note. As they say, a picture is worth a thousand words. I think that the illustrations are valuable for documenting wounds and skin lesions.

You're very welcome, DoctorMel. I'm glad you got it to work.

What is my secret? First, being raised on computers. Second, not being a busy doctor. And to set the record straight, I'm far from genius; though there are some other people on this forum that would definitely fit in that category.
