Non infectious disease wise!
Any one else run into this?

I can reliably reproduce this (as this is my work flow when seeing a patient)

Open patient chart.
Make any change in it (add VS, Ctrl-N, etc)
Open II
Open lab data (imported from Quest) - that launches the lab review "form"
(Here's the part that seems to bring out the bug)
Click on an individual item or panel of the most recent lab, or on Other Lab for patient to view more detail. clicking on the individual "branch" gives you a "table" of prior labs for comparison.
Close the lab review form: (insert sound of auto crash): AC crashes and burns, gone, dead.

Doesn't happen so much if I DON'T make any change in the chart (but won't attest to that).
Doesn't happen if I DON'T "expand" the lab or review past lab. I can close the review form back to II, and then review past lab without problem, just as long as I do not "expand" inside the lab review form.

I reported the bug from inside AC about 2 weeks ago. No response. Reported via email yesterday, did get "call us", but left coast time made it difficult yesterday.

Just thought I'd throw it out.

And "no" to any reinstall questions.

Roger,

I find using the "ping" or "chat" feature for support is, by far, them most efficient way to contact support. Even if they can't fix it then, they are away of it, and they will work on it.

I would also suggest using the free version of Camstudio to record each step all the way to the crash. Then they can actually see what you are doing.

Got GAS on the line this AM, just didn't have time to connect them to the server.
Then today, in clinic, couldn't reproduce what I done several times.
Typical.
As a programmer, I hate intermittent bugs.
I have Snagit to record screen actions, will do so if I can reproduce it.
Thanks. Bert

I have also had some recent crashes when viewing imported Quest labs but couldn't find a pattern to report. Will observe further.

I wish computer terminal didn't have to include the term "fatal bug."
it sounds worse than other fatal bugs, i.e. Ebola virus, HIV, or necrotizing fasciitis. I'd prefer to have none of these. frown

I have had a similar problem going onto the hospital Meditech system and looking at an x-ray image, while an AC patient chart is open. When I close out and go back to AC, it crashes on occasion, without a reason. AC support is stumped.

We are looking forward to our hospital moving to Sorian this month because we have a similar problem with Medi-tech. We can't run it on a computer in the office that also runs AC because it crashes.
