Has Nuance fixed the issues related locking up due to turning on Update at Startup? Should we turn it back on yet? Do we Ever need to turn it back on?

Got this a couple of days ago to the Dragon Reseller business unit - is this what you are referring to?
"The issue that we reported on Friday with Dragon Medical Practice Edition and other Dragon Medical and Dragon Naturally Speaking products having difficulty loading at the splash screen was resolved over the weekend. The Nuance Update Service infrastructure has been significantly enhanced and expanded. We have been monitoring the situation closely and do not anticipate any additional problems in regards to the splash screen load."
