I assume you are asking for the purposes of using Dragon Medical. Highly recommend going to www.knowbrainer.com where Lunis Orcutt has done a fairly extensive microphone comparison by type. Best, James P. Clayton, M.D. Disclaimer: I have no financial or personal interest in Knowbrainer, Lunis Orcutt, or any of his employees or ancillary businesses. I have been a satisfied customer of Knowbrainer.

I could tell you the best Phillips, etc. but you would be best off either PMing Tom Hamilton on here or talking to JBS. He is extremely knowledgeable as are others.

elizabethberger "There are many brands like logitech, etc. Look there are some more here" Logitech has never made any thing that worked exceptionally well with speech recognition. The microphones on this page look large, bulky, and appear to be aimed more at gaming than speech recognition. I definitely don't agree with this recommendation.

After major research.... I have decided Samson Airline is the best. Thanks to everyone for your feedback!

Hi Patricia,
Do you have this yet? I purchased one a month ago.
Upside: Recognition is exceptionally good
Downside: For me, lots of random monosyllable words appear (me, in, etc) which is extremely annoying, to the point of almost being unusable at times.
Please report back with your experiences!
Thanks.
