What is everybody charging for a flu shot...
I was told by my office manager that we should charge 23 bucks for the shot and 25 dollars to give it...that sounds like another snafu...I know someone out there can help on this matter...seems everyone gets all hung up on if medicare will pay 25 bucks to give a shot then we should charge it...I think there are people who dont use common sense...thanks everybody...todd

$20 and $20 for commercial insurances. Medicare does not pay for administration if shot is given during the routine office visit. Pays both charges if pt came just for the shot.

Once again, this is not true here in New Mexico. Medicare reimburses both whether or not an office visit is billed on the same day.
