Can the session locked screen be programmed to show as a running application? AC will lock and users will loose that screen behind other screens and then attempt to restart.
We are also seeing a lot of problems where AC does not shutdown correctly and my users are having to go into task manager and kill the application before restarting. Our primary enviroment is a 64bit Windows 2008 R2 terminal server.

Thanks!

Did you install Amazing Charts in Installation mode or Execution mode? (This is a specific setting on Terminal Servers you have to turn on prior to installing a program.)

Yeah I installed in application mode. My standalone Windows 7 64bit does the same thing. Once AC locks it disappears from task bar.

I think that's typical, but the lock window should be on top of the rest of the windows. That error with the "Amazing Charts is still running" is typical if the application isn't installed properly. I would do a clean uninstall either using Revo or Your Uninstaller. Then make sure it's in installation mode. Install the program. Switch back to execution mode.

Administrative CMD
change user /install
Install AC
change user /execute

If the issue persists, make a batch file on each user's desktop using a GP
taskkill /f /fi "USERNAME eq DOMAIN\%USERNAME%" /im "Amazing Charts.exe"

The filter will kill the instance for that user instead of all running instances.

I have not had the chance to reinstall application on the terminal server, I think users have learned either to log out and back in or just use task manager and kill the application. I will try the reinstall next time I do maintenance on the server but that doesn't point to issues on my workstation. I still run into issues on my workstation which I think relates back to me not using it and the screen locking, when I look for it I sometimes can find it other times if I have hit my desktop button it disappears and I have to kill application in task manger. I still think that a programming change needs to be made that makes so the lock screen shows as a running application in the task bar.
