Can someone help me? Tech support wasn't able to.
Here's the scenario: I have a new client machine running win 7 pro sp1. I installed AC and the full version of Adobe Acrobat 9. Just like I have on all my other machines.

However, when attempting to view Import Items in a patient chart, the PDF image is not displayed, AC hangs for a moment then crashes.

Tech support said it's because I have the full version of Acrobat installed and I should just use Reader (preferably Reader version 9.5).

the unacceptable part of their solution is that:
1) I need to manipulate the PDF images that we scan or receive via fax
2) I have this same setup on all the other machines in my office and they work perfectly fine. AC using full version Adobe Acrobat 9 without Reader installed at all.

does anyone have insight to this?

Are they all running Windows 7 or just the new one? Yea, that II issue is quite annoying. I have 4 licenses for Acrobat X standard and 2 for Professional I can't use since AC seems to have an issue with the new version of Adobe. Had to downgrade all to 9.5 reader.

Sorry for "jumping the gun" posting this question so soon.
I forgot to try the universal AC fix for many problems: uninstall/reinstall.

I figured out the issue. I uninstalled the Adobe products and uninstalled AC. Then I installed full version Adobe Acrobat 9, then restarted the computer, then installed AC.

It works no problem.
thanks for getting back to me so soon Sandeep.

I use Pdf -Xchange viewer
The free version allows me to manipulate pdf and save. I have bought the pdf xchange viewer pro which allows me to add or delete, stamp, sign, etc pages but otherwise the free viewer is just fine for me. Also, for 20 bucks per license it is much cheaper than the full version of Adobe acrobat.

I am not related or invest on tracker-software.

Thank you for the solution. I was having the same problem and this solution worked for me also. If you are using Adobe Acrobat, then remember to "deactivate" from help menu before you uninstall, otherwise you will exceed your activation limit. I am using the Acrobat license from the Fujitsu Scanner.
