Hello Everyone,

We have just been contacted by New Crop.
Their servers are down and they are working on the issue.
We were not given an ETA but I will post a follow up as soon as I am notified.

Thank you for your continued support,
Craig@AC

Hello Everyone,

We have just been contacted by New Crop.
"IT department has corrected the issue, we are back up now"
I was able to confirm by checking interactions and sending a test script.

Thank you for your continued support,

Follow up on issue:

NewCrop is currently seeing an exceptionally high load on the database server. This resulted in the slow response and brief downtime seen from 8:30am-9:00am CST.

We have rebooted the server, and are currently seeing normal performance. It is possible that users may see Render Times of over 2 seconds due to the heavy load.

We will continue monitoring the production server closely to ensure that speeds remain at acceptable and efficient speeds. Please notify NewCrop if you are experiencing long load times or other issues.

Thank you,
NewCrop Support

You know Craig, when NewCrop is slow, Amazing Charts takes a performance hit as well, even the non-eRx functions. I imagine that eRx downtimes are going to be more of an issue for the near future, as the gov't mandates more use of eRx. Is there a way to untangle AC from problems of NewCrop, rather than windows just hanging interminably and slowing office functions?

Newcrop has been a thorn in my side ever since I started with AC. I keep my free Allscripts up and running to use when needed. So, I can still do all my prescriptions electronically.

Leslie that is spelled, "L-U-D-I-T-E". (Ironic that "IT" is right in the middle of that)

Martin,

I had to look that up. It is actually spelled Luddite and I take pride in being one! In fact, here is my quote for the day... ?Luddite invents machine to destroy technology quicker.? grin
