Looking at windows 7, it has a built in voice recognition program. I'm currently training it as well as myself. It looks like it can be applied to AC. Does anyone have any experience with this? Using something already there is ALOT cheaper than purchsing a whole new program

Hi Nate, I'm bumping your post back up because somebody must have experience with Windows 7 voice recognition. Personally, I use Dragon medical because time is money, but frankly time is aggravation and I don't need any more of it these days. Having a preloaded medical library is a wonderful thing. The $1,000+ you'll spend is like a shot. It hurts for a little while at the beginning but is quickly forgotten. The pain of training new medical words will hurt for months and months. My 2 cents. I have no experience with Windows 7 voice recognition. I also have used Dragon Medical for years. I did try voice recognition when it came out with Windows Vista, spent weeks trying to train it for medical jargon, with poor results. It was no match for Dragon at that time. I hope you have better luck.
