![[Linked Image from ]](/ub/attachments/usergals/2012/08/full-3327-344-computeraccess.jpg) Sandeep and Bert you guys will probably know this, others possibly also. I've got a few systems that are connected to the SBS server through the http://SBSserver/connect connector that obviously showup in the dashboard. I'd like them to be available to remote into (say if a doc leaves the laptop in the office and wants to remote into his laptop from home). I have enable RDP on the machines in question (that I circled) but can't figure out how to allow them to be remoted into from the Remote Web Access page... As always the help is appreciated!

For the computers you are not able to access, do they have Win 7/Vista/XP Pro/Business or the Home Editions?

I'm fairly certain if they don't have the Professional versions of Windows, they won't show up. SBS Standard requires you to have Professional on all computers. I had to upgrade the BackDesk Computer and FrontDesk Computer to Win 7 Pro for them to show up in the list. It was a time saver for me since I made an image for Pro and I use Group Policy like folder redirection and other things. So I simply upgraded those computers to the Pro versions. (Win 7 Home Premium to Pro Anytime Upgrade and Vista to Win 7 Pro Upgrade). Much more cost effective for both parties. ![[Linked Image from ]](/ub/attachments/usergals/2012/08/full-2987-345-sbs_ess.png)

Also, you may want to get those backup issues resolved from what I can see from the dashboard.

They are running home premium until we get the windows 8 pro upgrade for $14.99 later this year. I figured that might have something to do with it.
yeah the backup issues aren't really issues. I don't want the desktops backing up as I have folder redirection working for users and one of my external drives on the SBS server died recently so it's noting that isn't being backed up.

Sandeep is correct. For workstations to work with SBS properly they must be one of the following: Windows XP Professional Windows Vista Professional Windows Vista Enterprise Windows Vista Ultimate Windows 7 Professional Windows 7 Enterprise Windows 7 Ultimate Windows 8 Pro Windows 8 Enterprise Keep in mind you are limited to 5 PC's. You should visit the FAQ for more details here: https://windowsupgradeoffer.com/en-US/Home/ProgramInfoJamesNT

I've got 3 laptops we are going to upgrade through the office. I've got a desktop under my name I'll upgrade. Any limit to the number of computers I can add (professional verions and higher) to the SBS server and allow remote web access to?

Slater,
I thought you might want to hear the great news about our Alma Mater if you have not heard already, just so you can pass along to your patients reassuring them of (y)our well rounded educational experience. WVU just got voted #1 party school for 2012.

Good to see the business majors at the school are busy at work as usual ;-) I'm sure this won't be mentioned repetitively on ESPN this season although I'd much rather we be ranked #1 in some other things.

I was diligently going through the posts, even leaning forward to soak up the info and possibly give an answer, and I nearly blacked out.

Sorry Bert, but Mountaineers don't have a lot to brag about these days and I wanted to pick Slater's spirit up a bit!
