Just got word that one member of our group has successfully attested for the Medicaid MU incentive. This was amazingly easy; completely different from the Medicare version. I would strongly encourage anyone who might be eligible to look into it.

I found it very easy to attest for Medicaid in November. Didn't get paid for 5 months, but only had to come up with percentages of patients and answer yes no questions. Took about 30 minutes including the percentage calculations.
Guess there is an advantage to taking Medicaid.

The patient's expectation is that you have all the answers, sometimes they just don't like the answer you have for them

We did the MU through Medicaid as well and went through Stage I without too much pain. The only major hurdle for Step I was the requirement that we have an immunization registry interface going. Of course, Stage II is a whole different matter. The hoops to jump through this time are oh so much more fun.
