I can't get my imported Labcorp labs to be recognized by the MU wizard. I use the Labcorp bridge so they are codified. I've tried ordering them and then reconciling the order/matching them up. No luck. I'm using V6.1.2. My HgA1C's and LDL's always show up on counter as a zero. Please help...

I upgraded to V6.3.3 over the weekend, and I was hoping this would solve AC not recognizing HgA1C for meaningful use from Labcorp. We have a Labcorp bridge and the labs are "codified" I believe. Has anyone had success with getting this to work, or is it just a bug? Thanks.

I have exactly same issue. But how come nobody else does? I thought people would be screaming here.

I can pass MU because it does recognize labs are being imported, but I wish I could find all my patients with uncontrolled diabetes based on their HgA1C.

Good Afternoon-
The reason your results may not be appearing is because the Meaningful Use Wizard relies on the LOINC codes for these results. The LOINC code is what makes the labs standardized. Lab names are not always reliable, as many lab companies will abbreviate a lab name, which makes it unreliable and unstructured. The LOINC code is a standardized value which corresponds to the one and only lab test which was ordered. Unfortunately, many lab companies do not send this code, but you can contact your lab and request that they begin using the LOINC codes if at all possible.
Many Thanks- Katie

I just spoke with Labcorp and it was apparently an easy fix. We'll see when I run MU next week. I'll keep you posted. Thanks for your help Katie.

Dr. Lee,
You are very welcome! I am happy to hear that this should be an easy fix.

Well, no luck on the labs that came in over the weekend, so I've emailed Labcorp again.

It may not only be the loinc codes as some of the counts require 2 visits in the timeframe and other requirements. Read the information carefully and make sure that everything else is done. I would go in that pt chart and under risk factors select diabetes, I then enter something under HM for a1c and date it for date of labs.
