I just noticed that for most of the day, I have posted the most recent post in just about all of the major headings.... HEEELLLLP!!! I've got Bertitis (sort of like the carpel version of Bursitis???). "Help I'm typing and I can't shut up!!!" Brian, Roy, Leslie, Wayne and Donna, get in here fast, I need an intervention. I'm falling into Post Master General syndrome...... aaaahhhhhhhhh

Ok, lets all gather round Hockey.

Now Paul, we all love you, but.... well. This is kind of hard to say but.... we think you have a problem with posting so much so this is an intervention.

Hope this works.

Hmm Do we need to sign Paul up for AC Anonymous?

And a question to ponder - if they drink a lot of coffee at AA meetings, what do they drink at Coffee Anonymous meetings? :-)

Paul,
It's the weekend!!! Go jeeping or something!
Where is Bert anyway? Think he took his vinyl friend out for some re-fried beans? Hope he isn't snow bound somewhere without an internet connection. God only knows what he'll be like on Monday.

Well, it's Monday and hopefully Paul has gotten out of rehab by now. Couldn't post earlier due to the hell-raisin' storm this weekend!! My power's still out due to some idiot hitting a major transformer pole in my tiny little town. PG&E is busy in the big cities so it's gonna be awhile... Good thing you can't see my hair!!

It's been a whole weekend, my palms are sweating, heart racing, light headed with headache, but I seem to have made it. But the family and I are going away for an entire week to Florida!!! I'll leave the laptops home and really try to finish up my detox then... I guess I'll either sink or swim at that point... sick

I have access to Welbutrin from the samples closet. If folks quitting smoking use nicotine replacement patches and gum to help them quit, what do AC user board addicts use for the same???

More hockey, more hockey... I've got games tonight and Wednesday before we leave town. I'll just replace one with the other, like the coffee at AA... Goodness knows I drink enough of the that (Green Mountain Coffee Roasters) already.... Since I was a little boy....

Paul, one bright note here: You'll be able to see the entire Disney World in less than 2 hours!!!! Have fun.

Gee Donna... Thanks, I think.... wink Around the park in 80 minutes, right? You can't do anything that fast down there. Although I really am hoping that by going just after the main Christmas holiday, the place will be pretty empty by it's own standards. I went years ago with my Brother and his family in the middle of November before Thanksgiving and it was pretty easy to get around with little waiting on line. Very nice.

Anyway, thanks for you support and good wishes.
Paul

Disney World empty?? Are you crazy??? Better get that "park hopper" pass thingy. Hopefully, though, you'll be okay with less lines this time of year when most kids are back in school. Never been to "World", but went thru Calif Adventure couple of years ago when it first opened. It was very cool drinking wine at Disneyland!!

Guys,
Here is food for thought... And makes one take pause even as I want to try and spread the word on our many issues of mutual interest and concern....

I figured lots of electronic healthcare people might get a bang out of this one...

What is the ICD-9 code for Bertitis anyway. Anyone? Donna?

And, anytime, you don't see me here for an hour or so, that means I am opening ports or redirecting them on my Cisco PIX-501. If you're not sure what that is, ask Donna. I don't think she uses Cisco firewalls anymore now that she has ISA, lol.

You can always just check Experts-Exchange. If I'm doing any PIXie stuff, I am generally over there begging for help.

Bert, try "569.42". So I'm technically challenged! I just hang around here so you other guys can feel superior. Actually, you spelled "Crisco" wrong, but I only use butter in my "cookies"! And being "pixilated" isn't so bad. Look what it's done for Tinkerbell! Neener, neener (techo-babble for "blah, blah, blah")

Thanks Paul, actually I could use some more pixie dust also. I guess I'm running a little low these days.

Donna,
We saw Tink. Did you get your refill of pixy dust that I asked her to send to you? My youngest, Adam, lost a tooth while at Disney. So I wrote him a note from Tinkerbell on a postcard with the fireworks going off infront of the castle, saying her friend the toothfairy asked her to help him out. And then I found some of the mouse ears, mylar confetti and sprinkled a trail of it from the patio door of our room to his pillow. He and my daughter were blown away. What timing for such a stunt.

Bert,
I am either real proud of you in the new year or deeply disappointed. You barely got out like 18 post since I left town almost 10 days ago. I thought I'd come back to find you up near 1100 by now. Did you really miss me that much??? They say every big scorer needs his assist, set-up man to help him score those big goals. Wayne and Mess, that's you and me baby... All the way.

Anyway, detox was a bitch and as you can see really didn't work all that well either. My palms started sweating and my heart started racing on Saturday night as I saw my Aunt Shelly's laptop with high speed internet access too. I guess I'm screwed, right?

Paul wink
