Hi everyone,

For the last 90 minutes or so, interaction checking churns for about 2 minutes, then "Unable to access online database" error displays. eRx works but VERY slow. Anyone else affected?

Thanks. Gene

OK this is a little strange (at least to my little brain.)

I took the lack of response to the post above to mean that this was our problem. Internet and AC were fine otherwise.I rebooted the router and switch, no improvement. I rebooted the main computer, no change.

I rebooted the cable modem, all returned to normal.

But these functions of AC were the only problems, the internet was fine otherwise.

Any thoughts?

Thanks. Gene

Delayed response? Lol. I've been having trouble accessing the board for the past few days. It's been taking a long time to load.

Is there any way to turn off med interaction checker when the internet goes down, to keep from getting "unable to access online database" errors, which slow down prescription writing?

Hi Toby,

Open the "Write Scripts" window. In the upper right corner is a small box "Settings." Open this, uncheck the top 2 boxes "Automatically check...." and "Automatically recheck....." and the interaction checking will be turned off.

I believe this is provider specific, so each provider will have to do this.

Hope this helps. Gene
