Wow, registered today and one post! Guess you are new. Welcome to AC.
I think a lot of users looked at IMH but decided against it. When I first tried it around nine years ago, I thought it would be the greatest thing since sliced bread. I wanted to set up the questions for each set of symptoms. But, no matter how many times I spoke with the developer or owner, he just didn't come up with a good way of customizing it.
I think it heard it is getting worse, but don't quote me on that.

Thanks for the reply, Bert.
Yes, I am new and since AC does not have patient portal, I was wondering how new patients can submit the history/forms before they come in, and I came across this instant medical history on AC website itself. In the interoperability partners, when you go down there is a patient history/check in , and then the Phresia and Primetime comes up. When you click on the Primetime( Instant Medical History) download, the link does not work so I called Primetime and guess what?
I called 3 times in 3 hours and everytime it goes on the voicemail. So, finally when I left them a final message in , the guy called from the blocked number, and then he said he will email me the link for the download. For 2 hrs. nothing happened. So, I called again, and by seeing my number he picked up the phone and said the engineer has to create a package and then email it to you but he is emailing shortly. It is 24 hrs now, but I have not recvd anything. Looks like they do not want business or it is kind of a fake company. How long does it take to send a link for a trial download? As a matter of fact, it should be readily available on the website. When I asked him how many clients you have, then he said more than 45000 providers are using instant Medical History. Now I have started doubting it.
Is it anybody really using it? Any other good product for collecting patient forms/history which can be directly parsed to AC, before they come in ? Is Phresia good for this purpose? But I believe it is only for the waiting room. I would like patients to fill in the forms on the web before they even come to the office.
Thanks Sahs

Sahs, You may want to consider Updox. You may create your own forms, history and the patient would be able to fill out the form at home on their computer in a secure fashion that is HIPAA compliant. I am not taking new patients or trying to build a practice, so the initial portal creation is a bit labor intensive and requires some education and legwork that my nurse takes care of. So this has been done at the time of the encounter/office visit. Updox has other features that make it enticing as well. One of the most is the workspace that allows all e-faxing in and out quite user friendly and allowed me to go paper free much more quickly. But as Sandeep and Bert can tell you there are other ways to do this cheaper, but I figure I like the Updox product so much I would rather give them a dime than someone else, but this is my opinion and those guys are much smarter than me when it comes to this stuff.

We tried out IMH.Alice found it just too verbose. Also, it can go on strange logic paths when patient give ... not quite accurate... information.
I have Adobe Acrobat so we have PDF forms that the patient can fill in onscreen and send back to us. We email the forms to all new patients.
I'm new to Updox and do not yet know how to best use their form function. But emailing the PDF works.
