Desktop/Computer Recommendations Updated
Now have builds using the latest Ivy Bridge processors as well as some new quiet and stylish cases. The cases are on the expensive side, but they are very good. Remember you don't need to use it build your own. You can easily use it to customize a Dell or Lenovo if you wish.
Added some new info about which performance level should be used.
For Server Recommendations, the only change would be the E3-1230V2 Ivy Bridge CPU. As Tom pointed out, some of the motherboards are shipping with the older BIOS. You could send it back or you could buy a Celeron G440 Processor ($40) to upgrade the BIOS and then send it back when you're done.
I might add some more advanced builds designed for Virtualization later on.
