I was wondering how everyone does the anxiety/depression f/u on a patient who is taking paroxetine 20mg a day.

1. My way, I feel like I am slowing myself down. I ask they are doing, any side effects, go through SIGECAPS and adjust.

2. the 5 minute doctor asks, how is medicine doing? Any side effects. Here is your medicine.

It is easy if that is the only reason they are coming in, but majority comes in with I need HTN, CHOl, DM, anxiety med refills. And since I am here, I have shoulder pain and abdominal pain.

Basically, is it ok just to type in - "anxiety/depression - pt doing fine. NO side effects" and be done with it?

It's okay if you want to be paid for a level 3 while you spend the time for a level 4 (at least). I think using an EMR helps not to undercode and undercharge.
