I am new to AC. Does anyone know if there is a way to actually "check in" the patients....and once checked in on AC at front desk, that would appear in on the MA's screen in the back? (Instead of literally walking back there to tell them patient has arrived).
I would also like to track no shows to see where we're at with that. It seems like they happen regularly, but there appears to be no way to track it! I also would like to be able to run reports that show how close we are to capacity scheduling (i.e. find the percentage of available slots that booked, and the appt was kept.)
I hope this all makes sense! TY for any help you have to offer, including work arounds! :-)

Suggest that your reception person pull the chart then foward it to the MA. The MSG created is time stamped. Could include room number in the MSG.

After all this time, I never thought of just pulling the chart and saving the message as a way to time-stamp the arrival time of a patient. The receptionist could even send the message to themselves and save it to the chart.
