I apologize at feeling so stupid about this. there is an explanation of this core measurement, but I can't figure out what exactly it's measuring in my pediatric practice. When I order vaccinations, and my MA gives them, are these ordered medications? I have very few other meds that I order in the office: occasionally albuterol, prednisone, once dexamethasone IM but little else. Are these the meds that are counted? Are the prescribed meds counted? I'm not quite passing this measure but I don't know why.

are you referring to core measure 1?
Did you look under "Reports"-->blue button at top right "Meaningful use"--> then click on Core Measure 1. In the panel view it explains "how to do this using AC"

Is there something explained there that you are not doing?
