We just upgraded from 6.0.9 to 6.1.2 over the weekend. The upgrade seemed flawless. Unfortunately the lab import messages were deleted on many patients today. The information is still in the chart (red/unsigned), but the reminder message is nowhere to be found (not in the inbox, deleted items, or lab section). I had a guy I needed to treat for an unspecified condition that I forgot to call because the note mysteriously disappeared. It happened to at least 2 of the other doctors in my practice too. Please help!!!

Dear David,
I would contact AC tech support in the morning. Hope they can straighten things out for you.

One place to start would be to look at the audit log (found under administrative options). Narrow the log to the dates of lost messages, and look for lab corps imports.

Had my computer guy and Labcorp on phone with AC logged into server. The audit didn't show the messages were deleted. The labs were still there, just not the notification. In the paper world, they were put on the doctor's desk, but then filed before they could be signed off. They thought maybe it was a one time bug. Will have to just watch closely the next few weeks. I'll keep you posted. Thanks for the replies.

David, I suspected that you would not see the deletion of the notification messages in the log, but at least this way you can find all of labs that otherwise might have slipped through. Hopefully this was just a glitch in the upgrade process and not a recurring bug. Let us know, please.

Well, unfortunately the notifications started moving back to the deleted items box. AC has the data and is analyzing it. We're back to reviewing paper labs for now. And no, it was not picked up by the log. Any other ideas?

Just happened again. Notifications there one minute in inbox. Hit refresh. Then gone and in deleted messages. Very frustrating.

An update for anyone interested. When my computer guy initially installed AC on our server, it was installed on the C drive and D drive (don't ask me why). When I upgraded from V6.0.9 to V6.1.2 only one of them got updated, but the other was still being used for some things. Yes I know weird and not good. Anyway, Clayton from AC was extremely helpful and logged in/uninstalled both/reinstalled just on Drive D, and I'm hoping this fixed the problem. Many thanks to AC for their great customer support!
