Sometimes item comes in upside down and R clicking and rotating before I sign off doesn't help as still upside down when I go back to chart and have to rerotate it every time I look at it. Also how do I dellete a scanned item i don't want i.e. useless info or wrong patient?

Also If I'm inm the hospitals medical records I lkike to just copy and paste the H and P or DC summary from there into the medical record. I can't seem to do that into the import section. is my only option to open a new note called H and P or DC summary and paste it in there?

While I like the summary tab that allows you to track data like last A1c, BMP etc I like to go in and edit the PMH section when I get a letter in saying patient has a new kidney stone, normal nuclear etc. Anyway to do that without opening a new note labelled UPdate? I'm not talking about adding diagnosis codes but actually getting the useful facts and details into the PMH.

I think the only thing you can do for the upside down item is print it and import it again.

For your bottom two issues unfortunately, I think you are right. You would have to open a new note. Other than the tracked items or adding diagnoses codes there is no good way to do what you are suggesting. You could, I suppose, add the H/P into an addendum or message but it would not be anywhere but in that spot.

You could copy and paste it into a word document and then import that.

It is a frustration for me, too. I get around it by using the tracked items extensively.

I hope I made sense.

Makes perfect sense, but I wonder if you could tell me how to delete an imported item that I am reviewing but haven't signed off on?

open the chart, go to Imported Items, right click on the item to delete, select the "delete" option, input your administrator password, click confirm, then you are done.
