In the last week or two I've repeatedly been getting a Security Warning popup. It says "Do you want to view only the webpage content that was delivered securely? This webpage contains content that will not be delivered using a secure HTTPS connection, which could compromise the security of the entire webpage." I run Windows XP over a wireless connection.

It occurs about 4 times in the process of trying to use LogMeIn. It's driving me crazy. Should I change a security setting? The box doesn't give an option to turn off the warnings. Any suggestions?

I've always loved this prompt. It's so non-intuitive to the average user. Most click yes when actually have to click No for it work.

Anyhow to disable this in IE8:
(I believe the menus are hidden by default so you will have to press the ALT key.)
Tools>Internet Options>Security
Select the Security tab
Click the Custom Level button
In the Miscellaneous Section, Look for ?Display mixed content? and change it to Enabled

I think LogMeIn updated their site to get around this HTTPS mess. I'd download and run CCleaner (Piriform) to make sure your browser isn't using cached http: version of the files.

Sandeep:

You have restored me to sanity! Thanks. I would never have figured that out on my own.
