I know that Bert reads all or most of these questions, so I am hoping that he will answer this one. I apologize if this is already answered in the FAQ. I scanned it quickly, but I will admit that I did not scan it thoroughly.

There is a question that I want to post about problems that I have had with Guardian Angel support, and I wanted to know if I could post it to both the Problems forum and this general forum? That way, I figured, I would get more coverage.

If I should NOT do that, to which forum should I post my question?

Thanks

There are no rules. You can post to any forum you wish. Generally, if someone posts something that I feel is more appropriate in another forum such as a Wish post in the Problems forum, I will move it, but you will find the the rules of other forums don't tend to apply here.

Have you exhausted all other avenues first, e.g. pinging a G.A., emailing support, etc. And, maybe starting in one forum and then adding may work better. Remember, most users use the Most Recent Posts as to what is the latest. Posting in five threads will put your post there five times.

I don't know how others use the board, but I glance at the list on the left and look at the most recent posts without regard to specific forum. So, putting a note in two different forums would not get more coverage in my instance, and would just result in a redundant post. In fact, as far as I am concerned, the different forums are unnecessary... if I don't read everything, I can miss a post that was in the "wrong" forum.

I don't know. I think that is starting to change with User Groups, soon-to-be eAC, Vendors, etc. Plus, when I am searching through the forums, I generally look through General or Problems and not Tips and Tricks and Downloads, forums I may close anyway.
