I would like to quickly see what prescriptions need to be filled with out having to "hover over" or open the history of every single medication. This becomes a time consuming task when you have several medications to refill.

My thought is that there could be color coded aging system that can easily be seen from the "current medications window" or in the "write scripts screen".

Green script was filled in the last 30 days
Yellow: 31 - 90 days
Red: > 90 days

Thoughts?

Thanks

I'm for fewer clicks, and that includes "hovers"!

That is a good idea, I would like to be able to have some medications De-activate automatically.
A ten day prescription of Amoxicillin would be active on the med list for 10 days and then move the inactive list.

It would also be useful to be able to flag medications as chronic medications for their BP, diabetes, lipids etc. medications as opposed to PRN or symptomatic treatments.

Agree!
I am constantly "inactivating" prescriptions that were never meant to be chronic. It would be great for that to happen automatically (or be given the choice when a new rx is written).
