All of you have always been nice over here to me at the Medical Quack and occasionally when I have something to add I do, but not too often but here's a story that's quite entertaining about a big hedge fund manager who tried to restore his reputation on the web and really messed up with the company he picked and it ended up with actually bringing to the surface everything he tried to hide with one of these "Reputation Restore" vendors.
A word to wise if anyone entertains using one, they are not all they have cracked up to be and I'm sure some have maybe read about them or given some thought to one if there were a few bad items published on the web, so again consider this some good entertainment and hopefully a tidbit about the folks who promise wonders with these services:)
http://ducknetweb.blogspot.com/2012/02/healthcare-blogger-gets-spammed-by.htmlI also do a website for a company that covers a lot of biotech small cap companies too and has a quarterly magazine that comes out and you can see the pop out at my blog too and the cover story on this issue is Internal Fixation Systems, generic orthopedic implant devices commonly used and made by doctors in the USA too with no IP. Just thought I would mention that as they are sold at 40 to 60% less and I have featured Dr. Dresnick the CEO of IFS on my blog as well. There's a feed to the site on my blog too for SNN Videos and they cover junior mining conventions so there's some gold, silver and other hard assets videos on the same web site.
Enjoy the Hedge Fund story, it's good one.
