Hoping someone can point me in the right direction / consultant.
We are using AC for EHR and a program called EHS for billing module (very popular in Southern States and USVI as full EHR/EMR). I do not like the EHR module of EHS which is why we use AC. We operate 3 offices with three schedules and unfortunately AC v 7 will not have the capability any time in the near or intermediate future to be able to schedule from 3 locations and have it visible. Maybe by 2017 :-)

So, we need an HL7 bridge that will populate AC when we enter demographic date into EHS EMR (think this is the most reasonable approach). Currently we are doing double entry and at over 100 patients a day it is burning up serious staff time and money. Any advice, any suggestions on who I can hire to do this competently and cost effectively?

Best,

You need to talk to Amazing Charts. They can custom make bridges

Dr. Clayton,

If you would be willing to reverse the direction of data input (i.e. populate EHS after you enter demographic information into AC), we have a solution that may work for you immediately. We have a demographic bridge, available for purchase for only $1.00, which will export the demographic data you add/update in Amazing Charts to a file that EHS should be able to import. Many of our practices have had success using the demographic bridge in this manner.

If you would like more information on how this is done, or if you would like to discuss other potential solutions, please contact me at your earliest convenience.
