Hello,

We are getting reports from our customers, they are getting errors for interaction checking and cannot e-prescribe. We are also receiving interaction checking errors and cannot send test scripts using our testing databases.
We will notify you as soon as the issue is resolved.

Thank you,
Craig@AC

Thank you, Dr. Nallin for the confirmation.
It is always helpful and appreciated to have a "front-line" report.

We have been notified by New Crop they are indeed up again.

Sorry for the inconvenience and Thank You for your continued support.

When we send meds by ePrescribe, which are converted to fax like "Nebulizer tubing," it will say Faxed and Success. How much does the success status tell you? I mean does it say it got to New Crop, SureScripts, the pharmacy?

Same with ePrescribed | Verified?

I believe that what Bert is saying is true - when I call the pharmacy and report that it says Fax - Success they magically find it. Same with verified - I get to be a stink with some of the pharmacies about it.

Pharmacies drive me crazy. They either can't find the script, in which case they tell the patient, your doctor didn't send it AND when they do find the script, they tell the patient it is going to kill them.

To be fair, a lot of pharmacists have saved me [censored] in the past with dosing errors, etc.

I have the advantage of being in a small town - 3 pharmacies and 2 are very good. I am personally friends with the father/son pharmacists at one and use them a lot as resources. I must admit electronic scrips are great for us - it actually costs them a fair amount and really is not a benefit.

They actually have to retype all e scrips that are new into their system and so there is still room for error.

I recently had a Duane Reade (460 8th Ave., NYC) swear up and down that they did not recieve the eRx we had sent, even though it said verified. I eventually had the patient just pick up a reprint of the Rx since he worked in our building.

I just wished the pharmacist would say, "We don't have that scrip. Could be your doctor didn't send it or possibly we didn't get it. Hey, I have an idea. Let me pick up the phone and call Bert. He is always so pleasant."

But, seriously, it seems they always just say. "We never got it. Your doctor must not have sent it."

I have a theory called "Power of last authority." For instance with urgent reads on x-rays. I can sit down with a patient and tell them, DO NOT LEAVE THAT X-RAY DEPARTMENT UNTIL YOU TALK TO ME. Tech comes out and says normal, and they are out of there. Same with pharmacists.

We are getting error messages again this morning when we try to ePrescribe, similar to yesterday morning.

Hello,

Yes indeed, there was brief issue again this morning involving their server's transaction log and it was resolved immediately.

We are diligently working with New Crop to prevent further hiccups in service.

Again we apologize for the inconvenience and Thank You for your continued support.

Is anyone having trouble eprescribing today? No refill requests this morning and the ones I did yesterday are all still loading. I have refreshed numerous times.
