In that article, I address the situation that you are with an EMR or PM vendor for several years but suddenly things change. Perhaps the vendor becomes a jerk. Perhaps they are bought out (MediNotes?). Perhaps the company begins to go in a direction that is not suited to you and your business. It doesn't matter. The question is: How do you get your stuff back? Are we talking about 5+ years of data gone to hell? Or do you have a fighting chance?
Think about it.
