Now that we are on version 6, and it is easy to check, I see that most of our prescriptions seem to be going out as faxes, not electronic, although some do show as electronic. Do I care? If so, whom do I contact about it?

I am using AC 6.0.10 and all scripts are sent electronic by
using the radio button -transmit to pharmacy.
I find the eprescribe button of surescripts too cumbersome.
Checked with AC staff yesterday and the only 2 longterm pharmacies listed are MEDCO in Columbus and ESCRIPTS in Maryland.
It would be helpful if they would allow us to fill in the fax munber for eprescrition as we have different fax numbers for mail away or long term pharmacies.
I manually enter the fax number for faxing the scripts but that does not count as eprescribe as you have mentioned

Hello Dr. Grauman,
I noticed your post so I checked your status with NewCrop.
It looks like you were not actually activated with NewCrop.
This may however have been a NewCrop Issue, because you were listed but not active. We will check with NewCrop on this issue.
Here is the procedure to activate or re-activate your account with NewCrop.
Once you enter in you Erx activation code into the Administrator Options in Amazing Charts, each provider must click on the "Online Services" button on the main page of Amazing Charts. Then click "Electronic Prescribing", this will open the NewCrop page. If the provider is not activated, then the provider must scroll to the bottom and click "I Agree". This will activate the provider with NewCrop.
I took the liberty of activating you directly with NewCrop, so your scripts will now go electronic.
If you have any further issues please feel free to contact me.

Thank you,
Anthony

So, here is an example of the value of AC staff monitoring the board and participating.

David, That weasel makes me smile every time I look at it! It appears quite interested in the text of the post.
