We are trying to complete the vax registry measure in Michigan. As the Michigan registry is not set up yet, we are supposed to submit an HL7 test message to MCIR to complete this. Does anyone have a clue how to do this? can't seem to get help from anyone on it? Is anyone else in Michigan with A.C? - Kim

Just use the test vaccine registry in AC - there is one for public health and one for vaccine registry.

I realize there is a test registry, however am I supposed to do the test or actually set up with the state registry? Apparently, if you give vaccines to age less than 7, you must comply with the registry by Jan 1. That is a separate law from MU. So do we do test interface for MU and then separately report to our state interface on their website until there is an appropriate interface?

...That's a great question. We are trying to attest as well in IL and got the public health registry and that worked. But are we actually supposed to upload to the State registry? And if we do, how do I find the files to export or whatever for manual uploading? The MU Wizard (God bless that thing, it's cleared up so much stupid cr## I have to deal with) says that we passed that measure but nothing actually uploaded...Help please!

Catherine~Katie from AC helped with this one. If you go to your main computer and look under the C drive for AC (in Program files x86) open the MUIR folder. There should be two folders inside marked logs and backup. Open both and copy the items in each. Contact whoever is in charge of your State Registry and have them help you manually upload these files. That's what I'm doing.
