I just tried updating from 6.0.9 to 6.1.2 and now am getting an error message my medication database is out of date. I get this from the database tuner which I am instructed to run. Anyone else having this issue? Any suggestions?

Scott,

Try this. Go to admin > Services > and stop the SQL Server(AMAZINGCHARTS). Now go to your Amazing Charts folder and delete both meds.mdf and meds.mdl. You can always get this back by downloading AC again, and they will be in Recycle Bin anyway.

Run the database tuner. If it is successful, the go to Add/Remove Programs if XP or Programs and Features if Vista/Win7. Right click on Amazing Charts and run repair. This will regenerate the two databases. You may have to do this with codes as well.

Restart SQL Service.

If this is not successful, make sure all of your client machines have been update to 6.1.2. Then retry.

This is an error which comes up a lot. I don't understand why it is not fixed, because it is frustrating.

If you still can't get it to work, I would try contacting Joe from tech support directly at joe@amazingcharts.com_remove.

Bert,

Thanks for the advice. I ended up un-instatlling and then reinstalling the program. I think my problem was I didn't download the 6.1.2 Database Tuner. Hope all is well with you.

Yeah, that would do it. Glad you got it to work.

My thanks to all you official, unofficial, willing and unwilling beta testers and early adoptees. Things went smoothly for us, thanks to your efforts. I'm glad we waited.
