When our doctor tries to print an rx to give to a patient, he gets a fatal exception error. Any suggestions on what might be causing it?

What version of AC ?
Where does error occur - after hitting print/send, after it gets to print box for printer, etc.
Does it happen every time ?
Does it happen on more than one computer?

Fatal exception errors are usually caused by either:

Errors in programming. Unlikely since no one else is reporting this.
Conflicts between two or more programs.
Physical hardware issue.

Also, fatal exception errors don't just say fatal exceptions. They will usually say: A fatal exception has occurred at xxxx:xxxxxxxx We need to know all of that. Take a snippet or screenshot and upload it here.

The most likely cause of this error would be drivers. And, since printing requires drivers, I would update your drivers. I would remove all drivers, then re-install a newer driver for the printer you are using.

Also, make sure any updates from Windows especially a service pack have been installed.

Files may be included such as VXD files, etc. We need to know these as well.
