Some interesting stats. Hope it doesn't sound like I am bragging. Just thought it would be fun.
When I took my "long" break, I deleted by Private Messages. There were 647. It took me a while to figure out I could delete more than one at a time. Then more than 25 at a time. For the record, you can delete 99 at a time.
Including this poll, I have created 38 polls. I am not sure, but I think I have received around 40 responses.
OK, I need some help. I have received PMs from users saying they like the new avatar. Microsoft makes it look like it doesn't fit, not AC. Some have asked for Mighty Mouse. I thought it was time to get away from him since it seemed kind of cocky. Like here I am.... I thought of Underdog, 'cause he's cool, and then Superman.
Also, I would certainly entertain "Other." If so, please post it.
Thanks.

You've been Mighty Mouse since I have been on the board. Just doesn't seem right without him. I am going to vote early and often!
BTW, The new font is a bit more difficult to read with my aging eyes. Anyone else?

I know. The first time I tried to import an Avatar, John's batman (that HE sent me) came up. I knew John would put him in as a write-in candidate.
@Donna,
Are you referring to my font, the board's font or my signature?

I think Bert's on-line persona really fits the Batman character: the Dark Knight, by day the quiet pediatrician, by night patrolling the dark corners of the AC board, alone on his mission to protect the weak and strike fear into the hearts of Brother MFC fanboys! ![[Linked Image from upload.wikimedia.org]](http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/c/c6/Bat-signal_1989_film.jpg/220px-Bat-signal_1989_film.jpg)

I too like John's idea. But it's not on the poll.

I personally believe Darkwing Duck would be more fitting, but that is just me.....

I like the batman avatar, especially after your up close and personal experiences with bats.

It has to be a write-in. You can't change the poll after it is created. We could add it to #81 on the wish poll. But, then...oops.

Oops, I posted the comment in the wrong section
Bert and Leslie, I really like your new avatars.
I think I'll keep howling at the moon, I don't see a wolf with a syringe although they make a interesting watch that logo.

OK, I really AM going to start taking this personally.
If I log out, the avatars show in all their weirdness. If I log in, they disappear. Log out.. Avatars. Log in... stealth mode.

Well, ironically, I was just looking at the Avatar section in the board Control Panel. But, remember, I was retired for two days. I'm a bit rusty.
I can email all of them to you.
But, if you must know, you are one of my favorites on the board. You bandaid post had me rolling on the floor. Don't worry, our floors are very sterile.

I can see them fine if I log out. This is true on my Macs using Safari and on the POS Vista machine I resurrected. Really strange.
And, if you think you're going to get off lightly because you left us here to drown, you have another thing coming. When am I going to get to post the JPEG picture you have been promising?

Funny you mentioned that. I learned to never make promises with a 3rd party is involved. Jon is on board with it, I am as well of course. The 3rd party who fixed the font at the top of the board, is slacking.

I am finally happy with my signature. For those who wish to keep their log in name which they created when they registered for the board, that is fine. But, if they don't know they can use a different user name, this may be helpful.
I always used to recommend doing it in the signature, but it doesn't have to be.
